Styling Appointment With Debbie Carlisle

Book A Consultation

Expert Styling Advice

For expert help to choose your bridal hair accessory, you can book a free styling consultation with me in my studio workshop. You'll be welcomed into the beautiful consultation area where I'll discuss ideas and guide you through my designs to help you find the perfect look for your day - or create a bespoke design just for you if you prefer. This is an opportunity to indulge in some time just for you and to enjoy being a bride-to-be!

Tailored To You

Before you visit I'll ask you to send a picture or link to your wedding outfit, and a wish list of your favourite Debbie Carlisle accessories. This helps me to build up a picture in advance of your style, ensure I have samples of any favourites ready to try on, and maybe even come up with other accessory ideas you may not have thought of.

What To Expect

A consultation is an enjoyable process you'll remember long after your wedding day. I take the time to get to know you and your personal style and we'll have a chat about your plans and how you hope to look and feel on your wedding day. You can also ask me any questions about styling and my artistic process and of course see where I make my accessories. Your wish-list of designs will be out ready for you to try, along with any extras I might have picked out for you. You can also browse my accessory cabinets in case any other designs catch your eye.

Trying On Accessories

The next bit is the really fun part - trying on accessories! We’ll try headpieces with a few different hairstyles if you haven’t chosen your definite style yet, in lots of different positions, and with or without a veil too – we keep a beautiful simple tulle veil in the studio especially for this or you can even bring your own with you. At the end of this special process you'll have a stunning, hand-crafted accessory made just for you that perfectly complements your dress, your hairstyle, and your personal style, and can be treasured for years to come by you and future generations.

When To Book

You don't need to have chosen your hair style before you come but ideally you'll have chosen your wedding outfit so we can choose a headpiece to match. If you'd like to take your headpiece to a hair trial you'll need to allow 2-3 weeks for me to make your accessory to order - or you can upgrade to a one-week rush order. Bespoke designs can take longer than standard pieces so if you think you might want a custom accessory I'd aim to book in a couple of months before you need your headpiece if you can. Small tweaks to existing designs are unlikely to need extra time to make.

How To Book

Book online for a studio consultation or fill in the form below to request an appointment in person or online. It's always worth checking for last minute availability - even if there's no availability showing on the online booking calendar - as we may be able to squeeze an extra appointment in. I offer weekday consultations, and evening and weekend appointments may also be available if you are unable to visit during the week.

The Logistics

As this is a working jewellery design and making studio visitors must make an appointment for their in-person consultation. If you might need to bring a child please let me know as the studio might not be suitable for certain ages or pram access. There is one short flight of stairs up to the studio which is housed in a very old former Little Mesters Steelworks. We have lots of on-street pay and display parking and are about a 20 minute walk from Sheffield Train Station.
