The Ada headpiece is a simple way to wear a birdcage veil. I've carefully tailored the veil using ivory English Merry Widow veiling before hand-sewing it onto a stunning padded ivory satin headband. The veil is crafted and attached in such a way that it can be easily adjusted once on - allowing you to choose how you wear your veil.
The Ada ivory Merry Widow veil headband offers a simple way to wear this chic modern retro bridal look without having to worry about how to style your birdcage veil, just carefully lower the whole piece on to your head and you'll be aisle-ready in moments!
English Merry Widow veiling has a similar style to the fine French Netting I use for my similar Esme Birdcage Veil Headband but has a wider open weave that makes more of a statement than its more delicate counterpart. Merry Widow veiling is a little stiffer than French Netting, giving the veil a more structured and rounded shape than my Esme design.
Both designs feature a clever adjustable veil so you can choose how much of your face is covered at different parts of the day - especially for that all-important first kiss moment!
Alternatively you can choose the 'separate veil' option and you'll receive the headband with a separate Merry Widow birdcage veil which you can clip onto your hair beneath the headband then simply lift the headband slightly to remove the veil partway through the day. You can see how this works in the video and the last two images which all show the similar Esme Birdcage Veil and separate headband. This is a great option if you'd like to wear your veil and headband separately on the day - or after.
The padded headband measures 40cm wide and the attached adjustable veil can be moved so it sits above or over the mouth - allowing you to choose how much of your face you cover on your big day and making it incredibly quick to change your look through your day.

International orders can be upgraded to rush courier shipping at checkout.�
