The Debbie Carlisle studio will be opening its doors to the public next weekend for a special event which will allow visitors to take a peek behind the scenes of a working bridal accessory design studio.
I will be throwing open my studio doors between 11am and 4pm on Sunday November 22 to allow anyone interested in my work to come along and meet me, chat about my design process and see my studio at first hand.
Whether you're looking for a bridal hair accessory for yourself or a friend, or are just interested to see how and where I work, this is an opportunity to see me, my work, and my studio for yourself!
No appointment is necessary and there will be lots of my work on display for you to browse at your leisure - including a sneak peek of some of my brand new 2016 wedding hair accessory designs which are due to launch early next year. This is the first chance to see the new collection in my home city of Sheffield and you can even place advance orders for the new designs.
I'm opening my workshop as part of a wider Open Studios event at the artists studios building where I am based - and so you can combine your visit to my studio with the chance to see a huge variety of artistic works throughout the building. Art disciplines covered include jewellers, painters, sculptors, fashion designers, photographers, furniture makers and even a milliner who makes fabulous bespoke designs which are perfect for wedding guests!
There will also be a pop-up cafe on the ground floor for all your tea and cake needs!
The studio is based at Exchange Place Studios, Exchange Street, Sheffield, S2 5TR - you can find me in room 1.13. You can park for £1 for the day on nearby marked parking areas or park in the Blonk Street NCP car park opposite for £3. The studios are a 10 minute walk from Sheffield train station.
