A Wonderful Start to 2026: UK Weddings & Honeymoons Awards

I am thrilled to share that my work as a bridal accessories and jewellery designer has been recognised by the UK’s biggest-selling wedding magazine who have named me a finalist in their prestigious 2026 awards.

A Date At The Dorchester

I'm now busy planning my outfit (and accessories) for the glittering gala awards ceremony at London's iconic Dorchester and it feels like a wonderful way to start 2026!

The Only Headpiece Designer Shortlisted

I’m so honoured that the team and judges at Weddings & Honeymoons magazine chose me for their shortlist. To be one of just five designers in the whole of the UK nominated by this bridal press institution, as well as the only headpiece designer, makes this moment even more meaningful.

A Passion Project of More Than 16 Years

This nomination comes as this year marks 17 years as a bridal accessories designer. My journey as a birdal designer began in the simplest way - by designing my own wedding accessories and realising how much I loved the process of creating something precious, personal, beautiful, and meaningful. What started as a passion project has grown into a carefully considered, values-led brand, built around craftsmanship, sustainability, and thoughtful design.

A Privilege to Design for Brides

Over the years I’ve had the privilege of creating pieces for brides all over the world - from delicate botanical headpieces to sleek, modern birdcage veils - all handmade to order from my Sheffield studio. To still be doing what I love after more than 16 years, and to be recognised within the UK wedding industry for that work, is such an honour.

I’ve also been honoured by the Guild of Mastercraftsmen and seen my designs grace the pages of magazines and blogs all over the world - including Wedding & Honeymoon magazine’s own front cover. I’m deeply grateful to them and to every bride who has trusted me with such an important part of her wedding day, and to the photographers, stylists, planners, bridal writers and fellow designers who continue to inspire and support my work. None of this happens in isolation.

New Designs and Collaborations

Looking ahead, there’s so much to be excited about. Next month I’ll be attending the UKWHA awards ceremony at The Dorchester, in London which already feels surreal. I’m also working on a new collection, as well as several collaborations with some truly incredible bridal brands, projects that feel like a natural evolution of the brand and where I’m heading creatively.

Thankful, Inspired and Excited

Being shortlisted is an honour in itself, and a reminder of why I do what I do. I’m so thankful to be starting 2026 feeling inspired and excited for what’s to come.

Thank you for being part of this journey - it really does mean everything to me.
