What to expect from a bespoke bridal hair accessory consultation

Looking for a one-of-a-kind wedding headpiece? I love working with brides to create the perfect hair accessory for their big day and my bespoke service is the ideal option if you want something unique and tailored to your personal style and wedding theme. So, what can you expect from a Debbie Carlisle bespoke bridal hair accessory consultation?

I offer consultations either in person or online (usually via email) so you can choose the option that suits you best. Before our appointment I’ll ask you some questions about your wedding - such as your dress, your hairstyle, and any other details that will help me create the perfect hair accessory for you. I’ll also ask you to let me know which of my designs you like so I can build up a picture of your personal style preference in advance - and be sure that my style is the right fit for you. We’ll also talk through any ideas you might have in advance so I can be well-prepared for our consultation.

During the consultation, I take more time to get to know you, your personal style, and your wedding theme. I'll also show you examples of my work and we can talk about materials and colours to help you get a better idea of what you like.

Once I have a good understanding of your preferences, I'll work with you to create a bespoke design that is unique to you. I'll use my expertise to recommend the best materials and techniques to bring your vision to life, and I'll keep you involved in the process every step of the way. You'll be able to see sketches and/or mockups of your hair accessory, and you'll have the opportunity to provide feedback and make changes as necessary.

Once you're happy with the design, I'll work out a price based on the materials used and the time it will take to create your piece. You can get an idea of my prices by looking at the headpieces in my online store - and you may be surprised to learn that it's possible to have a bespoke piece at little or no extra cost than one of the designs in my existing collections. For example, if you like one of my headpieces and simply want it in a different colour, there is unlikely to be a huge prices difference. And if I already have the colour in stock there may be no extra to pay.

Once I have your go-ahead I will create your bespoke bridal hair accessory by hand in my studio. This is where my skill and attention to detail really shine - I'll use the highest quality materials and techniques to create a piece that is not only beautiful but also durable and comfortable to wear. Bespoke designs may take longer to create than my standard pieces depending on the work involved and whether I have to source new materials so if you're thinking of going bespoke it's a good idea to allow plenty of time.

Finally, your bespoke hair accessory will be shipped to you, beautifully packaged and ready to wear on your wedding day. You'll have a stunning, one-of-a-kind accessory that perfectly complements your dress, your hairstyle, and your personal style, and can be treasured for years to come.
