Today is the day I finally get to reveal the brand new designs I've been working on for my 2020 wedding accessories collection - and I'm so excited to share them with you at last!
Moonlight is a shimmering, sparkling collection of celestial hair accessories and earrings inspired by the moon, the stars and the wild natural outdoors.
Large lustrous pearls mix with star and leaf shaped crystals and the tiniest crystal gems to create shimmering constellation style designs with a stardust vibe as well as some delicate designs inspired by trailing vines and florals.
I'm especially excited by the chandelier earrings I've created for this collection - I think this is a great way to indulge your inner fashionista and elevate your look, whether you wear them alone or with one of my coordinating hairvines, hairpins, combs or crowns. I've created matching gift sets of hair accessories and earrings that work together beautifully - and will also save you a few pennies!
You can add the earrings to your look during the day or save them for later to quickly and easily update your look for the night.
I've created lots of hairpins which can be mixed and matched, dotted about an updo or pinned together to create one single headpiece design of your own making. You can even split them up and gift them to your bridesmaids - we offer extra gift boxes for this very reason!
This capsule collection is a natural progression from my Stardust range of headpieces and all of the designs in the Moonlight collection are designed to be mixed and matched with each other and with coordinating pieces in the Stardust range - so use your imagination or check out the images created by Maytree Photography to inspire you!
As always I've worked with only the highest quality materials to create my designs and ensure their longevity as heirlooms of the future - high-lustre super-sparkling crystals and luxury crystal pearls, gold and silver plated wire and metals, and intricately carved mother of pearl flowers.
I've also sourced a new supply of sustainable satin ribbons for my ribbon tie headbands. The feel, quality, and the way the ribbons drape are exactly the same as my usual satin but they have a more eco-conscious provenance - incredibly, these beautiful ribbons are made from recycled bottles and they're also packaged in recyclable cardboard rather than plastic reels.
This means if you order the gold option for these hairvines your ribbons will be completely sustainable. (Sadly I've been unable to source a sustainable organza but I'll keep on the case!) I've also purposely kept this new collection small, and as usual all the pieces are made to order in my Sheffield workshop, so we keep waste to an absolute minimum.
I hope you enjoy looking at the new collection images I've picked out here - and then do take a look through the full collection in my online store to see the different ways we've styled the new designs.
Planning a new collection photo shoot takes a lot of behind the scenes work to find the right people to bring your ideas to life - and I'm so happy with the results! The photo shoot is probably as important as the designs themselves as this is how you get to see how my pieces will work on your wedding day.
I am so grateful I got to work with a team of really wonderful, talented (and gloriously fun) people to create these images which show just a few ways of styling my new designs - I'm sure you'll find lots of other ways to wear them too!
So all that remains is to say I hope you love the new designs as much as I do - and to say a huge thank you to the superstars who made these beautiful images possible:
