Rose Gold Hair Bridal Hair Accessories

Romantic, warm and glamorous, with a distinctly modern feel, rose gold bridal hair accessories will add a unique fashion-forward touch to your look.

In this blog post, I'll be showcasing my favourite rose gold bridal hair accessories - with designs for every style and budget.

From headbands to hair vines, combs to hair pins, these accessories will complement a rose gold wedding theme - but they will also work with an array of colour schemes and the soft, warm tone sits effortlessly with varying skin tones and hair colours whilst offering an on-trend alternative to silver or gold.

How to choose rose gold bridal hair accessories for your wedding:

Though there are some super dreamy blush toned wedding dresses out there which would look fantastic with rose gold hair accessories, most brides are likely to be looking to add hints of rose gold to their bridal attire rather than wearing it from head to toe. Though if you did go for a pink gown - huge bridal style kudos to you!

So, it might be that you’re looking to reflect the rose gold in your choice of bridal headdress or shoes, or maybe you’re thinking of wearing rose gold earrings and glittering nail art to match.

Most of my range of bridal hair accessories are available in silver, gold or rose gold. And the beauty of rose gold hair accessories is that the colour’s warm, delicate appearance suits so many different complexions and hair colours, plus it really stands out as a stunning alternative to more traditional precious metals.

The type of hair accessory you choose will come down to a variety of factors, including your personal style, wedding dress design and hair type and your chosen bridal style. To explore these aspects in more detail, take a look at this guide I’ve put together on How To Choose A Wedding Hair Accessory or, if shopping from the comfort of your home, this blog post on How To Shop For Your Wedding Hair Accessories should be super helpful too.

As a rule, those wanting to make a statement with their accessories will be looking towards bolder designs, such as heavily detailed rose gold bridal hair vines. My Katya headpiece is a stunning example of this! Particularly fitting for spring/summer weddings, this bohemian intricately woven piece features hundreds of individual faceted Czech crystals and beautiful carved mother of pearl flowers resulting in an absolute show-stopper. It also has the flexibility to be worn across the forehead or incorporated into a bridal updo.

My other top rose gold bridal hair vine picks include trailing designs, Annette and India that can be beautifully woven into bridal braids, plus Rosemary, Coralie and Anastasia - all of which can be worn as a browband or headband or pinned into place in the back or side of the head.

Slightly smaller in size but equally impactful is the beautiful Cherry bridal headpiece, inspired by Japanese cherry blossom, along with the stunning Lily and Evie which are perfect for trailing around an updo or half-up hairstyle. For those wanting to go daintier still, the Ivy hair vine is super romantic and can easily be pinned into a variety of positions.

Alternatively, if you prefer a bridal hair comb that can be both moulded into place to curve around your head and positioned in place with pins for extra security, there is my Small Sylvie design. A magical mix of intricate carved mother of pearl flowers with shimmering rose gold Czech faceted crystals, it is a delicately striking natural wedding headpiece which is equally suited to a boho wedding or more classic style.

If you’re undecided on your final bridal hairdo, some other super adaptable and delicate rose gold hairvines in my collection include Anya, Amy and Leander.  All three have removable ribbons, which allow the pieces to be tied into place as a headband, tiara or browband or pinned into place as a hairvine or bun wrap. Meanwhile, if it’s a super delicate and sweet bridal look you’re envisaging, there’s nothing quite like my Daisy wedding headband for a fresh and carefree look.

Sticking with more subtle rose gold bridal hair accessories, bridal hair pins are an effortless option that can be scattered through pretty much any wedding hairstyle. For just a hint of sparkle, I’d pick my Lyra or Anya hairpins, featuring elegant high lustre luxury crystals, or my Haillie hairpins, which can be worn alone, peppered through a plait, or teamed with other hairvines to create a totally unique and understated look. Boho brides, meanwhile, will fall head over heels for my delicate yet dreamy Daisy hairpins, giving all those cool festival feels.

If you’re looking to achieve a bolder accessory look from bridal hairpins, I’d suggest my Maisie or May designs. These larger hairpins can be worn alone as a simple headpiece, or multiples of two or three can be placed together to build up and create your own hairvine style piece. For fans of sparkle, Maisie features dazzling luxury crystals, while May provides a more pared-back but equally pretty feel using polished freshwater pearls.

Finally, for the fashionista brides out there, we have my gorgeous Beth rose gold bridal earrings and matching comb set. Feminine and fresh, the simple flower cluster ivory bridal comb will add an elegant shimmer to your hair without overwhelming your wedding day look, while the matching statement flower hoop earrings will add an element of contemporary cool. Better still, these beautiful accessories can easily be worn for occasions long beyond your wedding, providing a stylish reminder of your special day!

How to add rose gold into your whole wedding day:

How you use rose gold in your wedding colour scheme is likely to come down to how full-on you want to go. For brides wanting all-out glitz and glamour, the stylish hue will feature in almost every element of the decor and detailing and will generally filter through to the wedding party attire, most likely in the bridesmaid gowns and bridal accessories. If going down this route, you might want to use a mix of both glittering and matt rose gold finishes to create extra interest and depth.

Alternatively, you could just use pops of rose gold and toning blush for a feel of understated romance. For example, your stationery and cake could have these tones incorporated into the design, or perhaps you could have a rose gold aisle backdrop, like a contemporary balloon installation or an ethereal floral display woven around a metallic ring.

In terms of other colours that go with rose gold for a wedding, this tends to go one of two ways, with some choosing to team it with neutral tones like ivory, taupe and pale grey, and others adding a second bold accent to complement, say forest green, navy blue or burgundy. For a timeless feel, a simple rose gold and blush pink colour scheme is popular or, for a contemporary twist, introduce a second toning metallic accent, like copper. As a colour scheme that lends itself to all seasons, rose gold and blush or neutral tones work particularly well for light, elegant spring/summer weddings, while bolder colours teamed with rose gold are fitting for plush atmospheric autumn/winter celebrations.

Not only is a rose gold wedding scheme adaptable to the seasons but also to the setting, be it a rustic barn or contemporary hotel, a whimsical woodland celebration or even a contrasting urban style venue – the latter working especially well with rose gold and copper tones.

Flower-wise, there are plenty of botanics that blend beautifully with rose gold – and if you’re planning a rose gold hair accessory, you’ll need to ensure you bouquet will work with your headpiece. Great colour choices include blush, ivory, mauve and cream tones, as well as hints of pale yellow and gorgeous green foliage. Given the theme, some brides also like to centre their bouquet around roses – maybe a mixture of tight buds and blousy florals.

Shoes are another great way to incorporate rose gold into your scheme and pull together your look if you’re planning to wear a rose gold hair accessory for your wedding. You’ll find lots of rose gold options from bridal, high street, and designer brands – for a vintage bride I love the Mimosa Quartz shoes from Rachel Simpson (above), while these rose gold sandals from Loeffler Randall would look amazing with a cool contemporary bridal look.
